Station Setup

The left station is the prefered DX and Low Band station and can be fully remote-controlled while the right station is the prefered contest station. I am more satisfied with the FT-2000 on the Low Bands and with weak signal reception than with the FT-1000MP.

Both stations can operate almost independently. Band change is done in a second with the automatic amplifiers Alpha 87A and ACOM 2000A and the microHAM antenna switches and controllers. More on the Antenna Switches page. The microHAM Keyer II are used as radio-computer and CW keying interface. The Dunestar 600 bandpass filters help a lot to keep inter-station interference at a minimum.
I am using three M² OR2800 rotators to turn the antennas.
