BV Version 7 - Download |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Attention! All imported QSOs after Jan 1, 2010 are imported with a wrong date.
2010 was imported as 2000. This applies to all imports. This means all previous BV7
versions will not work anymore and you need to update to BV 7.8 or higher! |
|
| |
|
|
| |
BV Version 7 is designed for Windows 2000, XP and Vista. It works under Windows 7 and 8 and needs to be run in XP Compatibility Mode. It is important to read and follow these
instructions before you download. BV requires a BDE (Borland
Database Engine) installation on your computer. BV will not run without
the BDE! The BDE is a set of database drivers and includes an administration
program. See the instructions below how to download and install the BDE. |

Terms of use |
|

BV7 is freeware. BV7 is provided "as is" to the ham radio community. I will not give any support in any form. I might read your e-mails and suggestions but I usually never answer them. With a few 10,000 hams worldwide using this software it would simply take too much of my time. Instead you will find useful support in the BV7 Mailing List. |

BV
Version 6 to 7 Upgrade |
|
| |
Users of BV Version 6 have
usually BDE version 3.5 installed. If you want to upgrade to BV Version
7, you must upgrade your BDE installation to 5.0 - otherwise BV7 will not
work! The upgrade will not overwrite your existing configuration and is
compatible with BV6. With BV Version 7, the BDE does not have to be set up
any more. |
|
| |
Since the formats of the logs and layout files have
changed, I have provided the upgrade program BV6to7.
The program is packed in a ZIP file. Click
here to start the download of the ZIP file (590 kB). After the download is finished, double-click on the file
bv6to7.zip, unzip the file anywhere
using an unzip program.
Run the extracted program BV6to7, after you have installed BV Version 7. It is self-explaining.
You can convert all your label layouts, program settings and all or only
particular log files. |
