Very nice operation. Your work is appreciated. You were heard and called on 80 meters today 4-1-03 at 1100Z - 1120Z by eastern stateside stations. You must have had difficulty receiving. Tried hard to work you guys on 20 CW this morning (3/31) but couldn't get through. What made it doubly bad were all the stations who you said were dups. Why do these guys keep calling and QRMing? I have never worked Tonga on any band/mode. Most likely I won't work you guys either (100 watts and an attic dipole). But I do appreciate your efforts. 73, Mike - K8IW

I only need to work 15, 10 and maybe 160 and 6 CW for a clean sweep. I don't care about SSB and 160 / 6 M are only nice to have. But what about 15 and 10 CW - can we sked?

Yes - propagation to EU lately from the Pacific has been very poor. Was much better Dec - February. But yesterday condx started picking up a little. Good luck and thanks for a surprise dx-pedition for me.

Just worked your station on 20M, CW. Very good signal into central Ohio. Rig here is Collins S-line, 30L-1 linear running about 800W to a vertical ground plane. Not fancy antenna but heard you very well. Best 73 and good diving ! ! Paul

Want to wish you a safe and sound stay on Tonga and hope you will focus on 80 meters for EU. A3 has been available for Europeans on all bands between 40 and 10 meters numerous times but there hasn't been any serious effort on 80 meters in the last 11 years... 73, Hugo-ON7GB
